Yes it is very much normal, infact I also faced it so my doctor suggested me to eat something as soon as I woke up and before leaving the bed, that means before you wash your face and brush your teeth too. Initially I felt awkward eating anything without brushing but yes... See more when I started having something on the bed itself it helped me a lot . You can ask your husband to give you a glass of milk with two overnight soaked almonds... Or keep some dry fruits, dry snacks like khakra or roasted makhana near your bed. Have them once you wake..
